• DAY 01 Arrival & addis ababa tour
  Be welcomed by your Ethiopian guide on arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, and transfer to your hotel. Begin the tour in Addis Ababa during your free morning (maybe exchange money, when necessary briefing of the itinerary, etc. and be ready for the tour). Afternoon with a visit to the Entoto Mountains with spectacular views over the capital city, the National Museum and Trinity Church. Overnight Hotel.
  
  

• DAY 02  Addis Ababa to axum
  Fly to Axum. Go on a tour of Axum. The archaeological and historical attractions in Axum include the archaeological museum, monolithic steles or obelisks, the tombs of King Kaleb and King Gebre Meskal, and the legendary Bath of the Queen of Sheba, and the ruins of the ancient palace of Queen Sheba. You also visit the new and the old Cathedral of St Mary of Zion and the sanctuary that houses the original Ark of the covenant with the best Museum in its compound.  Overnight best available hotel.
  
  

• DAY 03 Axum to lalibela
  Fly to Lalibela, defined as the 8th wonder of the world which is also the main highlight of this tour. Visit, in the afternoon, some of the magnificent Rock-hewn churches of Lalibela: Bete Medahne Alem, Bete Meskel, Bete Mariam, Bete Denagel, Bet Golegota, and Debre Sina, Bete Giorgis, and Typical Tukul House in Lalibela and northern part of Ethiopia. • DAY 04 Lalibela
  Have an excursion Tour in the morning to visit the wonderful Yimrhane Christos cave church. Or you can choose to walk or make a mule back ride to the hilltop semi monolithic church of Asheton Mariam (13th Century AD). The peak of the hill offers a wonderful viewpoint to have a bird's eye view of the surrounding area including the town of Lalibela. Visit, in the afternoon, the rest of the churches in the town, Bete Gabriel-Rufael, Bete Merkorewos, Biete Lehem, Biete Amanuel and Bete Abba Libanos.  Enjoy a typical Ethiopian coffee ceremony in the late afternoon.   Overnight hotel.
  
  

• DAY 05 Lalibela to Gonder
  Fly to Gondar, transfer & check-in at your hotel.

  Proceed on an afternoon tour of Gondar by visiting the castle’s compound & King Fasiladas bath, Debre Birhan Sellasie church (light of Trinity) with wonderful murals, Qusquam monastery, Empress Mentewab palace and if time permits the Falasha village too. Overnight best available Hotel.
  
  

• DAY 06 Gonder to Bahir dar
  Drive in the morning after breakfast to Bahir Dar with very nice views of Amhara people village.  Go on a boat trip in the afternoon on Lake Tana to admire the beautiful monasteries over the lake’s islands, as Azua Mariam and Ura Kidane Mehret, with also the visit of an Amhara people village & coffee plantations.  OvernightHotel.
  
  

• DAY 07 Bahir dar to addis for departure.
  Visit the Blue Nile Falls or do a city tour of Bahir Dar with a nice view to Lake Tana from the top location of Bezait Palace in the morning. Fly to Addis Ababa in the afternoon and if time permits, visit the Merkato, biggest open-air market in Africa. Spend your evening with a traditional dinner with folkloristic dances as a Farewell night party. Evening or next day will be your departure.
